Don’t Sink, Think!: Virtual Assembly for DPW 2026 (30 minutes)

For Drowning Prevention Week 2026, we have created two assemblies, one for KS1 and another for KS2, that are fun, engaging and informative.

Each child will learn:

  • How to recognise places where it is and isn’t safe to swim.
  • What to do if you fall into water unexpectedly.

 

The slides have been designed with accessibility in mind:

  • We’ve used Comic Neue, a dyslexia-friendly font. Download it free here if not already installed.
  • Videos include closed captions, and all lyrics/visuals are clearly presented for all learners.

 

Each school will receive:

  • An electronic certificate which can be given to pupils.

£65 per assembly.
